With the RM 21-01 Tourbillon Aerodyne, Richard Mille has introduced a new case design. This watch, inspired by the world of aviation, continues the brand's quest to create watches with incredible wrist presence, are lightweight, and use some of the most advanced materials and technologies. The RM 21-01 Tourbillon Aerodyne is made of 5N red gold sandwiched between a Carbon TPT exoskeleton held together by 20 spline screws. The vivid, precious metal is juxtaposed with a cage-like technical material. The colors continue down to the baseplate, which features a PVD royal blue honeycomb structure made of HAYNES 214. This engineered alloy is composed of nickel, chromium, aluminum, and iron, and it is frequently used in combustion chambers due to its ability to withstand temperatures of 995 °C — this means the baseplate is stiff, has low thermal expansion, and is resistant to high levels of torque.

Please note that any signs of misuse beyond what the manufacturer's tolerances allow will result in the nullification of this warranty. Additionally, this warranty does not cover water damage stemming from an open crown, or damage to the crystal from normal usage. Replacement of quartz watch batteries is not included under this warranty.
